Position overview:
The Acquisition Manager will oversee budget, acquisitions, and cost control strategies for SofGenius, ensuring financial efficiency across departments. This role is focused on supervision and strategic financial oversight, rather than operational tasks. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in cost analysis, financial projections, and reporting, supporting data-driven decision-making to optimize expenditures.
Key Responsibilities include:
Manage and supervise spending, acquisitions, and cost control initiatives to ensure financial efficiency;
Budget oversight and monitoring expenses, identify cost-saving opportunities, and implement strategies for financial optimization;
Provide accurate financial projections and reports, leveraging cost control tools and software to support decision-making;
Ensure that financial planning aligns with business goals and maintain oversight of budget adherence across departments;
Oversee contract negotiations and ensure cost-effective agreements with external partners;
Identify inefficiencies in budget management and propose strategies for streamlined financial processes;
Work closely with finance, procurement, and senior leadership to align cost strategies with business objectives;
Identify and mitigate financial risks related to expenditures and acquisitions.
Facing the challenges of the role require:
3-6 years of experience in cost control, finance, and/or acquisition management;
Strong analytical skills and experience with financial reporting, projections, and budget analysis;
Proficiency in Excel and other cost control tools;
Familiarity with financial reporting and forecasting software;
Excellent negotiation and communication skills;
Ability to provide strategic financial oversight while working with multiple departments;
University degree in Economics, Finance, or a related field.
